Home Remedies

1. IF YOU'RE CHOKING ON AN ICE CUBE, SIMPLY POUR A CUP OF BOILING WATER DOWN YOUR THROAT. PRESTO! THE BLOCKAGE WILL INSTANTLY REMOVE ITSELF.

2. AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF WHEN SLICING VEGETABLES BY GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO HOLD THE VEGETABLES WHILE YOU CHOP.

3. AVOID ARGUMENTS WITH THE FEMALES ABOUT LIFTING THE TOILET SEAT - USE THE SINK.

4. FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SUFFERERS ~ SIMPLY CUT YOURSELF AND BLEED FOR A FEW MINUTES, THUS REDUCING THE PRESSURE ON YOUR VEINS. REMEMBER TO USE ATIMER.

5. A MOUSE TRAP PLACED ON TOP OF YOUR ALARM CLOCK WILL PREVENT YOU FROM ROLLING OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP AFTER YOU HIT THE SNOOZE BUTTON.

6. IF YOU HAVE A BAD COUGH, TAKE A LARGE DOSE OF LAXATIVES. THEN YOU'LL BE AFRAID TO COUGH.

7. YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

8. REMEMBER - EVERYONE SEEMS NORMAL UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW THEM.

9. IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

DAILY THOUGHT: SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING, BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS

Recycled Plarn Bag / Tote

I made another tote for my shop from plastic bags (mostly bread bags) It's shinier than when I make them out of the plastic shopping bags, but a lot more work. I think I used about 50 to make this one. The top is trimmed in plastic netting that ice pops came in.

Crochet Tip # 17

Crocheting with Plarn (plastic yarn / upcycled plastic bags)

If when you crochet with plarn and it seems that you're having a hard time getting the hook to slide through easily, just rub your hands with baby powder. The powder will make the crochet hook slide right through. Repeat as needed.

A site I think you may like

I just wanted to tell you about a cool new site called IM Report Card.
It's a new community that's updated daily with reviews of popular Internet marketing products, services and people.
http://www.imreportcard.com/r/DebsCrochetEtsy
Wondering if that product or service you're thinking of buying is worth it? Now you can find out before you buy.
You can also grade products you're familiar with, report scams, add comments and write your own reviews, and even
>> earn money just for participating <<
Myself and some of my products are reviewed on the site.Would you do me a favor and grade and comment on them?
http://www.imreportcard.com/r/DebsCrochetEtsy
Check it out and see what you think ...
If we all just make a little effort we can make it a lot harder for the promoters of crappy products to do business online, and shine the spotlight on those that deserve it.

Here's another cute bag I crocheted mostly from bread bags. It really gives it a unique look.

It's trimmed with plastic netting that looks like red fun fur.
The bag is about 11 1/2 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches tall and a 21 inch strong strap.
