Here's a cute bag I crocheted from plastic shopping bags.
No two bags will be exactly the same. I do not follow a pattern. I just make them up as I go along.
The bag is about 12 inches wide by 9 inches tall and a 27 inch strong strap.
It's sure to be a conversation piece.
People will be amazed when you tell them what this bag is made from !
This recycled plastic bag would make an excellent market tote or beach bag.

I just ordered a Free Mousepad
I wanted to tell you about this pretty cool site I just found called Arts Cow. They have special offers all the time, and I just ordered a mouse pad with my cats picture on it-Totally Free, even the shipping!
Plus when you get referrals, they give you points that you can apply towards other things.
I figured I could use them for some promotional items for Debs Crochet in the future.
Come check it out

My Crochet Today

This item was created for the EtsyHookers Creative Challenge No. 8. View and vote on your favorite entry beginning Wednesday, February 10th. Everyone is invited to vote! http://etsyhookers.blogspot.com.
The circles cowl was made by crocheting circles together like a chain with two different variegated yarns in shades of blues, grays, copper, browns and tans, and complement each other beautifully. It has open loops on each end that you just loop the scarf through and adjust it to your preferred size.
It measures 36 inches long.

My Crochet Today- A "Milk Bowl" Recycle Project

First I have to explain how I made this.
I took approximately fifty plastic wrappers I saved up from gallons of milk. I then cut them into thin strips and connected them like a rubber band chain. Then I crocheted them into a bowl. It measures 5 inches tall x 5 inches wide.
I call it the milk bowl, although it really won't hold liquids.

My Crochet Today

Here's something a little different. A combo set of a hanging kitchen towel and scrub pad.
The top of the towel is crocheted with a button closure to hang from handles or knobs in your kitchen, and the matching scrub pad has a loop that also can hang from the same button, or by itself.
Weather you're doing the dishes or cooking, these will come in handy.

I've been busy making more towels. I couldn't resist these when I saw them in the store. Here's just some of the ones I have finished so far.
