My Crochet Today Little Tote Bag

I had some terryspun yarn and thought "Now what to do with this yarn"?

So I came up with this pretty tote.
I crocheted it  with by blending the pink terryspun and a gray acrylic yarn, Close stitching so nothing will fall out the bottom of the bag. It has a pink button closure and a round flat bottom. Nice and soft too!

Approx. size 11 inches wide x 9 inches high

Hexagon Large Recycled Rag Rug

I wanted to make something a little different and thought, "Why not a hexagon"?
This was just so fun to make!
This rug, made of reclaimed tee shirts and fabrics, is full of color. I randomly placed darker colors of black and brown that really made the bright colors pop.
The hexagon shape measures 43 " at the widest points, and 38 " at the shorter points.Heavy and very durable.

This pretty tote has a mesh stitch and a solid bottom with two strong handles.

My Crochet Today Recycled Cell Phone Cozy

I love the way this cozy turned out!
The picture doesn't do it justice.
The idea came to me while making a rag rug.

I crocheted this from soft yellow cotton strips of a former T shirt,
and it came out sturdy and thick.

This is made totally from upcycled / recycled materials right down to the button.
The button is a gold color.
It is attached using a cotton strip for added strength.
The loop closure can also be used as a convenient carry handle.

Will snugly fit items that Measures approx. 2 1/2" x 4" with a 1" button.
I used a LG cell phone as a model for this.
