The Last Launch of Space Shuttle Discovery

I went to the beach to watch the final launch of Discovery yesterday. There was a lot of people there. It was pretty disappointing. It was cloudy, so I was only able to get a couple of pictures before it disappeared into the clouds.

What's Your Favorite Flower?

Mine in the Morning Glory. They come in many different colors. Here is a blue one that is blooming in my yard.They only last one day, then fade to a lavender the next day (see the flowers on the top)

Update on sites that don't suck-SurveySavvy

I received an email from SurveySavvy letting me know about their new way to check my balance. It also now shows how much was made from my referrals & super referrals. I was surprised that I had $15.75 waiting for me. So I cashed out. The only downfall is they send a check. I would have preferred  Paypal, but it's good anyway.

The Sky at Sunset

I haven't posted any new crochet in a while since I'm in the middle of my current project. So here's something different. I took pictures of the sunset today. It was so pretty.

I added a new section to my Etsy shop

I made a new section for hanging kitchen towels-matching pairs. for my Etsy shop. Needless to say, i have been crocheting all day. I have four sets listed so far. I also added a few new single ones to my Artfire and Zibbet shops. I started crocheting and working on my shops at 6:30a.m. and here it is just about midnight. I have to get up about 6:30am to babysit tomorrow, so i wanted to get as much done today as i could. We had to totally rip up one of our bathrooms due to a leak, so I'm trying to make some money to redo it now. You don't realize how handy a second bathroom is until you don't have it!

It's Finished!

I finished the rag rug tonight. It came out so nice. The pictures don't do it justice. I will probably re-take the pictures tomorrow when the lighting is better. It was getting dark out.

I crocheted it using cotton t shirts shades of greens,yellows,white,tans and black.It also has a neon yellow color that makes it appear to glow in the dark. It measures approx.44 inches across.
Heavy and very durable.
All of the fabric was washed before used, and hosed off and air dried in the Florida sun after completion to remove any loose fibers.

Current Work In Progress

I'm working on a round rag rug using shades of greens,white,tan,yellow and black. I'm not sure how big it's going to be yet. I am making it with old cotton t shirts.
I'll list it in my Etsy shop when it's done.
