My Crochet Today

I just finished up a custom rag rug order for one of my returning customers. This was a fun colored rug that actually reminded me of the colors of Easter. They where colors of a new shower curtain she bought, and wanted me to make a rug to match.
Here's what I came up with. It measures 28 inches across.It's made with t shirts and other fabrics that i bought at my local thrift store. Proceeds of the sales go to the area food banks.

Been A Little Busy Lately

I haven't blogged in a while. we have had our 10 yr old nephew visiting for a few weeks.
We took him to the Kennedy space center a few days ago. Here's some of the pictures.Too bad he won't be here to see the launch on Friday of Shuttle Endeavor . I won't be going back there to see it myself as they predict the traffic is going to be a nightmare, especially since the president will be there to see it as well. I can see it from my house anyway so i hope to get some pictures as long as it isn't cloudy.

Update on Pay Sites That Don't Suck

I joined SideTick a while back. At first they where practically giving points away. Then a few had to go and ruin a good thing by using something called robots (i'm not to up on that kind of stuff) Anyway they changed things around a little, but i think they still give out a lot more points than a lot of other sites i belong to. The payout starts at $25, which you can hit pretty quickly depending on how much you put into it. My Crochet Today

Today's latest crochet is a round rag rug. It's 50 inches across. I made it with different color cotton t shirts and trimmed it in solid black. I really like how it turned out.

Now that i'm finished with the custom rag rug orders, I can start restocking my shops. I made a few sets of the crochet top matching towels that can go in the kitchen or bathroom. I had a customer tell me she uses them in the bathroom so her little ones don't drop them on the floor. Heck, my big ones do that! I'm going to do the same thing.

Not much actually. I have been busy trying to finish the custom rug.I have about seven rows left. I can see the finish line!
I did buy some new color towels and managed to make a yellow one. I may take a break from the rug and work on some more towels.
