I'm trying something a little different. I'm making an oval rug. Instead of mixing the colors like in my other rugs, this one will have solid rows of mixed colors.I figure i would give it a try. Here it is so far.
Thanks Shannon I'm making it out of t-shirts, so as it gets bigger, the stripes will break up. Not sure how it's going to work up, or if i will like it. Still thinking about starting over with a different color scheme.
I've been itching to make one of these. I'm headed back to the States for the summer, so maybe I'll get my hands on some t-shirts and make one for my parents. I think they'd love it.
I really love the green color of the last round that you worked. Is this one made out of yarn, or are you using old t-shirts?
