My own original design.
This cute turtle trivet is made the same way as my rag rugs. It's made from recycled t-shirts which were purchased from my local thrift store that supports the area food banks and charities. It would be great to use under plants,or use it on your table for hot or cold items. Kids would love to use it as a placemat, save the table from those little "oops".
When not in use, you can hang it up by it's looped tail.

clever and very thrifty earth friendly way to use up what is already around. My first use of t-shirt yarn was from a swap in which I received t-shirt yarn. I made a potholder. I enjoy the way it knits up haven't tried crocheting it yet. But your turtle looks grand. :)
That turtle is adorable!
