I went to water the plants and the parsley didn't have a leaf left! Upon a closer look, I discovered a bunch of
Eastern Black Swallowtail Caterpillars! at least five of them, just pigging out on the parsley.Well at least they will be pretty butterflies.
this is so funny! i have a squirrel that keeps eating all my tomatoes! It is sooooo frustrating! It is amazing how one little thing can completely destroy all your hard work in one sitting!
My name is Debbie. I live in sunny Florida, formally from NY. I have been crocheting for nearly 30 yrs. I learned the basics from a family friend, and self taught the rest myself. I can crochet almost anything from baby sweaters to doilies. I have turned my hobby, which I love to do,(or maybe it's an obsession?) into a small business on ETSY. (debs1967.etsy.com)

Too funny! I saw the title to your post and wondered what had happened. I didn't know they liked parsley!

I know the feeling!
Only ours aren't caterpilars and they aren't that pretty. Just slimy little brown things eating all the lettuce and parsley.
I'm sure we've picked off a hundred off them in the past couple weeks, I'm starting to think I planted some "slimy bug"-seeds by mistake.. :)
