Getting ready for the holidays

I've been really busy trying to fill up my shop for the holiday shoppers. I am currently working on a checkered rag rug in reds, greens and white from some old t shirts. Here's a sneak peak of the work in progress:

My Crochet Today Small Hexagon Rag Rug Fiesta

Yes , I made another rag rug. I'm making different sizes as to offer price ranges.
I love the way this one turned out.
As I was making this little rug with these fabulous colors, I thought "Fiesta"

This rug, made of reclaimed t shirts,is full of color. The hexagon shape measures approx 22" at the widest points, and 20" at the shorter points. It would be perfect to add a bit of brightness to a dark area or as a table trivet.

My Crochet Today- A "Milk Bowl" Recycle Project

First I have to explain how I made this.

I took approximately fifty plastic wrappers I saved up from gallons of milk. I then cut them into thin strips and connected them like a rubber band chain. Then I crocheted them into a bowl. It measures 5 inches tall x 5 inches wide.

I call it the milk bowl, although it really won't hold liquids.

My Crochet Today

Here's something a little different. A combo set of a hanging kitchen towel and scrub pad.

The top of the towel is crocheted with a button closure to hang from handles or knobs in your kitchen, and the matching scrub pad has a loop that also can hang from the same button, or by itself.

Weather you're doing the dishes or cooking, these will come in handy.
